There are books that come in both kana and romaji versions (although I think it's stupid to even offer a romaji version, to be honest) like Japanese for Busy People and I gotta say not all books suck. Well, they're not good, but they don't all suck either. Take me, for example, I am completely self-learned (don't get me wrong, I'm not done learning Japanese - I am far from fluent even though I am no longer a beginner) from books and internet. Before you go to attack, though, let me clarify that what I mean by "not all books suck" is simply that snippets from them can really help... I don't remember what I was talking about anymore... Anyway, my point is that having a book or two on learning Japanese won't (assuming they're not the absolutely worst crap out there) just feed you wrong informations but teach you about grammar and quite a few words - just don't completely rely on it.

And then internet starts giving me trouble. I don't think God wants me to blog - but I don't care: I shall blog. And blog he did; and it was good.

I don't have a strict link exchange policy, but I don't exchange links with "Poo of the Day" style blogs and certain types of blogs, so please let me check out your blog first.

If you choose to add a link to my blog as part of a link exchange or otherwise, please use one of the banners above.

Spirited Away is an amazing piece of work (in fact, when someone called Miyazaki a "Walt Disney of Japan" I went furios and berserk; I no longer have a brother (that's a lie, of course)) but even though it has some serious degree of epicness, it is not anywhere within my absolute top five. Also, it is a movie and this list only contains series. :)

Yeah, but it's a top 5 list which means it only covers the 5 most epic anime - there are more epic anime than the ones above. I have not seen all of them, I'm sure.

That's a lot easier, just give people what they want with direct links. ;)
