Newt has a place in the GOP. It's just not POTUS. He can't expect to be a slimeball and a crook for 40 years and then not have his record examined when he runs for the nomination.

Newt isn't that good of a debater. I'm not sure where that myth started. Newt is a fat old windbag who gets high of hearing himself talk. Bachman ran Newt through a shredder talking about his support for Freddie Mac last debate.

It wasn't Romney making the ads, it was his Super PAC. Technically he can't control what they say. Every other candidate is bashing Gingrich too so romney doesn't even have to do much. Romney just needs to make sure Ginggy doesn't win Iowa and then Mitt's got this in the bag.
