Its Saturday.

I'm sorry I'm even posting but I had to. I enjoy the freedom of religion here in our country. I also believe that as a nation and often as individuals we have it all wrong (way too often so have I). Start with priorities. I am a Christian. I am an American born and raised. I don't think its important to disclose my race because its a figment of the social imagination and no one would never believe me. I do care about the environment. I do care about the God-given liberty and justice that we enjoy as well. My motto is God first. Those who don't believe in Him can disagree with this stand and you are free to do so. I am not ashamed of the gospel in its fullness of love and redemption. I will not tout the mottoes of Self First, Country First, Esteem First, Hollywood First, The Dow First, or anything but what i mentioned first. Enough evidence exists to prove that God is "greener" than we could ever be. So its plain to see He wants His children to care too, but wait... Caring about the environment is not my soapbox. The cause of Christ is my first priority. Yes, care about the environment... but if we believe in Christ and do not support His mission then we are lying to ourselves. If not in all the gospels, look up Isaiah 58. Yes it talks about an acceptable fast day, but this should be everyday. That is how Jesus lived His life.
I want to say before I finish that yes, I love sinners. My mother is a sinner. My father is. So am I. So is everyone else. I will say I don't like sin. I hate it. It breaks the heart of my Father in Heaven. This is more a political blog than a religious one, but if you invoke the name of our Creator, never do so in vain.

PS. I have as hard a time listening to Rush Limbaugh as I do to Bill Maher. I have no political party. Is there one for me?
