Seek Omega : Why IBM’s Watson Computer is Still a Moron

The fact is technology is evolving. Evolving faster, much faster, than man. And it's accelerating. http://www.radiolab.org/blogs/radiolab-blog/2010/... http://www.kurzweilai.net/the-law-of-accelerating... Also, you misunderstand the architecture of Watson and how machines currently are capable of deciding.

I'm not a fan of mapmyrun. The site's user experience is just horrible. :-( BTW, if you're an iPhone user Runkeeper Pro is currently FREE for a short time. It's a great app.

IT Expert Voice : Replacing SharePoint with Open Source CMSs

Great article. Thanks for including MindTouch. It's important to note that the real power of MindTouch for this use case is in the packaged Intranet solution. It is used by some very big names including a team in Microsoft Unfortunately the Collaborative Intranet solution currently is not part of the download or Cloud service. However, if you're interested in this just ping someone at MindTouch and we'll be happy to walk you through it.

MindTouch, Inc. Blog : The Most Influential Technical Communicator Bloggers

Agreed, Alexa is useless. Facebook is hard to factor. LinkedIn is a great idea. All in all though, I think it's clear this is a really solid and credible list. Yes, MindTouch is powered by MindTouch. As for Demo...I'd like to have every person on this list to participate in the coming year in a webinar and communicate the importance of Tech Comm. What about a Tech Comm podcast? Who's running one? Every one in this post should be highlighted.

MindTouch, Inc. Blog : Let's Build the Future, Together

Thanks for commenting. You're referring to http://cloud.mindtouch.com This is the MindTouch Platform v.10 product and is different from the MindTouch 2010 product Anne is writing about. Consider downloading MindTouch 2010. It's pretty easy to install because we package it as a VMware appliance. We also host this if you like. However, we don't offer it as instant on...yet. As for your credit card. Well, your card is not charged for 30 days and we make it really easy to cancel before it is charged. We do this to prevent millions of hosted sites from being launched, which has an overhead to it. This way only serious users launch a site. Of course, you can always download the software to trial it too. I hope this helps. Again, thanks for taking the time to comment.
