They would choose the public option, or be forced onto it by their employers- As the public option would be a competitor on steroids. As Obama has admitted repeatedly, we can't pass a single payer health care system all at once but instead need a transition- THIS is the transition.

Healthcare will be offered for free at the margins. I put it in quotes because TANSTAAFL. But to say- well yes there is rationing now, yes the world is a place of scarcity. But those decisions should be left to individuals and families, not to a government which decides to play God.

No lies. I'm simply hesitant about turning 15% of the private economy over to the government.

Your thoughts should be more about how do we rebuild the Republican brand that DeWine helped destroy, instead of asking some silly blogger if he will submit to partisan interests.

The death panel are real, no matter what supposedly non-existent clauses are removed from the ObamaCare legislation. When the cost of services at the margin is zero, demand will be greater than supply, which leads to shortages and rationing- The government will save money by denying service to the elderly and fat people... or give them a "pain pill." I didn't see this comment until I responded to #2- your answer is there.

Always nice to hear from one of Ohio's statist bloggers. Yes, abortion is part of ObamaCare: <a href="http://asia.news.yahoo.com/ap/20090805/twl-us-hea..." target="_blank">http://asia.news.yahoo.com/ap/20090805/twl-us-hea... . And I'm sure government controlled hospitals (their takeover is inevitable in this sort of system) will certainly allow doctors to object to the killing of unborn babies.

Not sure yet. Anyone else know?

The logic is that when health care is offered for "free", then demand will always be more than supply, which leads to rationing. The reason that Mr. Logic doesn't understand this makes the case for why we should perhaps reform education first.

And you are apparently a short-term minded political hack who has no interest in rebuilding the damaged GOP brand.

For comment #1, Google may help you. For comment #2, there may be no help for you.

Thank you. I don't even like mentioning it because it sounds like a pejorative or an exaggeration, when I actually mean it quite literally.
