Obviously you haven't moved on because if you had then you would have skipped this article.

The tweets that Weigel talks about were something Nolte and RAM did to show the hypocricy of the MSM. It was a sarcastic slap across the face of the lib media and in no way whining.

Dave Weigel was the one who ended up looking like a fool by wetting his pants over nothing. I know, big shocker.

Maybe you should encourage some of the weaker male potential candidates to repeat Palin's message, but to do so without the screeching high pitch of a woman. Do you get a thrill up your leg with Obama's pitch perfect soaring rhetoric?

Also, let's remember that the freakish left was doing everything they could to drown out Palin's message. Who exactly is your perfect GOP candidate with the message and that perfect voice inflection? Please name this great orater that clearly outshines the screeching high pitch voice of Palin.

Unfortunately it looks like 'exchangerates' had his meds..... and then mixed them with alcohol while also smoking some of the chronic.

Either that or on the wrong thread. ;)

If the media would have told the truth about Barack Obama as many times as they have lied about Sarah Palin then Obama would be a community organizer again instead of the POTUS or even a sitting Senator of Illinois.

Well, maybe he would still be the Senator of Illinois. I am sure he lost support in that state with the media portrait of him as the great moderate during his election campaign for president. The people of Illinois probably didn't recognize this 'centrist' candidate the media spoke of.

Afterall, being a centrist is not the 'Chicago Way'.

Oh yeah, Bill Maher is pure scum. That is the truth.

Insider1984, that was my earlier point about this video. Instead of just reporting the Republican VP candididate was the governor of Alaska, mention her record and accomplishments, and report her 80% approval ratings, Katie Couric decided to set her own narrative about Governor Palin for her audience. Not surprising, but still doesn't make it right.

Steve I agree. I didn't release the video or post it on this website. I expect this type of behaviour from the media and don't expect anyone to be outrageously outraged about it. My comment below about the snarky comment about the name of one of our brave soldiers who is risking his life to protect all of our freedoms does bother me. Of course the lack of respect for a service member is also not surprising at all. I just didn't like it, nor do I ever like it when someone slights the military -- the best America has to offer. God bless these brave men and woman.

I think the worst part was Katie Couric taking a shot at the names of the Palin children. This comes right after her mention of Track Palin, who has chosen to put his life on the line to protect Couric's freedoms, which allow her to continue spewing her talking points from her teleprompter from the safety of her studio. Katie Couric should show some respect for Track and the rest of the men and woman risking their lives every day fighting for all of our freedoms. It's obvious from Couric's snark that she doesn't appreciate the sacrifice that Track and his fellow soldiers are making for her and the rest of this great country.

Has Katie Couric ever made a snarky remark about the names of Sasha and Malia Obama? Nevermind, that question was rhetorical.

Steve I would say the 'gotcha moment' is more the attempt by Couric to set the narrative about the announcement of Governor Palin as a VP candidate. Shouldn't we expect the CBS news anchor to actually report that Palin is the governor of Alaska, mention her record and accomplishment, and also point out her 80% approval rating. Don't you find the mention of beauty queen and moose burgers to be an attempt to portray Governor Palin on Couric's terms instead of just 'reporting' the important facts about the Republican VP candidate?

I understand that we should not expect these liberal gasbags to act with any type of class or professionalism. I think we expect the condescending tone of the media to shine through in any setting, but these are supposed to be professionals. I am glad to hear you were able to join in the fun during your times as a part of the expected banter in these types of settings. I am sure you are so proud.

Are you serious? What is the scoop here?

It's bad enough you would even run a ridiculous story like this, but you actually link to that freakshow Jeanne Devon.

CSM you are truly pathetic.

I have to give kudos to Chris Matthews. It is a shame that some of the pundits and bloggers on the right didn't bother to give Breitbart the same courtesy before joining the left in condemning his actions. I expect this type of behaviour from the leftist who attempt to destroy any conservative they fear. What I do find objectionable is the shear weakness displayed by so many who claim to be conservatives who quickly distanced themselves from Breitbart in fear of also being labled a 'racist' by their liberal counterparts.

If anyone wonders why we continually lose the battle of public opinion it is mainly because of the pathetic weakness displayed by these so-called conservatives who cave in the face of any disparaging allegations by the leftist media. Where are the fighters on 'our side'? Hopefully they reside in the form of the ordinary citizens and are not expressed by most of our current politicians, pundits, and bloggers who claim to represent us.
