Lisa notes... : “Enemies of the Heart”

Interesting concept. I never thought of sin in relation to feelings of owing or being owed. I suppose this is a new way for me to examine my own heart. Good post.
This is so beautifully written. It is so hard for us to see ourselves as we really are, isn't it? My recent post Seasonal Fruit

I'd love a shirt, but I'm most likely too .... busty for one. 3x is both my t-shirt size, and my rating! Okay. It's just my t-shirt size. A gal can dream, can't she?

Awesomologist : The Illusive Rapture

I am an amillennialist. I am not going to arm wrestle with anyone of the issue, though. I don't think our salvation is at all dependent on whether we believe we will "fly away" or not. Catchy tune though... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sdRdqp4N3Jw

Also, showering and hair fixing are optional. This is Church. We are accepted just as we are (though clothing of some sort is most strongly encouraged). *You can thank Jason for making me aware of this post on his Light Friday List, making the above comment possible. :-)

Stuff Christians Like - Jon Acuff : Praying for things you shouldn't pray for.

I don't have children, and I do understand. My husband and I wanted children so much. I can't. Yes, I've been to fertility doctors, etc... I remember crying in the bathroom when I finally got my period after it being a month late. I knew the home pregnancy test said negative, but I was hoping so hard it was wrong, and we were finally starting our family. There have been plenty of insensitive people around with "advice", and there have been plenty of wonderful people with advice who only want to make something better which they can't. I suppose the same is true for some parents who are having difficulties with their children.
