As I stated above, I am NOT disputing what you claim goes on, I know it does. What I take issue with is your claim of ALL.
There are several call centers located near me; Citibank, CenturyLink and DirecTV to name a couple.
If you request a help desk person without an accent and someone that lives in the USA, most companies will honor your request. I do that with HP everytime.
This company( http://www.buckknives.com/index.cfm?event=why.pla... for example, has moved most of their manufacturing back to the US due to customer demand. Take note, Idaho is a right to work State and is another reason that allowed the on-shoring since employers are not over the labor union barrel. IMO, this will be typical of future company relocation and on-shoring. Labor unions have almost destroyed manufacturing and right-to-work States will lead the charge to get manufacturing back.

I find it interesting that people love to go about the "gold standard" talking points without really digging into the truth of it.....it is far from our grasp now as there is no where near enough recovered gold in the entire world for America to return to the gold standard.
