Also happy with Sirius/XM. I don't have to spend time organizing playlists, I didn't have to buy an ipod, etc. It's also convenient when you have to go on a long drive that you don't have to search for working channels and such.

That's entirely true of the book. In the movie Logan's Run the age limit is presented as a measure to keep the population stable in the artificially limited environment that the people live in.

I'm just happy to live in a country where you *can* wag your finger in the presidents face and suffer no consequences.

Rather similar to Leslie Nielson's career. Most remember him for his Airplane and Police Squad comedies. Almost forgotten is that drama was his meat and potatoes. In the same way MacMurray progressed from villain roles to the Disney and TV work that he's better remembered for.

If Adam Baldwin has free time now, maybe he'll write some more articles for Big Hollywood.

The original short story was a lot different. Charlie's robot "Battling Max-o was indistinguishable from a human. It also didn't work. So Charlie saves his paycheck by getting in the ring himself and getting the crap beat out of him by another robot.

Star Wars was good because Lucas wasn't the all powerful force his now in his movies. He was forced to compromise by budget, location, technology, and the people he worked with. Movies at their best are a collaborative art. Lucas has long since forgotten that.

So then are the Bigs cheap shills every time they review a book? a movie? a TV show? Are they cheap shills for doing an article on Glee every week?

I'm curious about who wrote these scripts. Did Lucas write them? Then they're probably junk. If it's others, and Lucas and McCallum are limited to Exec Producing credits, then there might be hope for a decent show. I'm not too worried about McCallum's favoring the trendy issue of the moment. A few years ago he might have been trying to lump it in with the anti-WTO protesters, or the green movement. If these scripts have really been in the vault for a while, and they allowed to revised by the show runner and his team, then it might be ok.

I like WW2 movies, I like fighter planes, so I'll be inclined to see this. I'm not much interested in dancing rappers, so I skip those.
