New Testament verses that denounce drunkenness: Ephesians 5:18 Romans 13:13 Galatians 5:20 1 Thessalonians 5:7 When I listed the verses in my original post, I simply did a word search for drunk, I did not mean to insinuate that every one of those denounced drunkenness. However, remember that it only takes one verse - one command - to get the point across. Obviously, Paul felt it was necessary to mention to four different churches. As I said in my original post Chris, alcohol isn't bad in and of itself, it's getting drunk, which is a common goal in our society today. I apologized for being demeaning and am trying to improve.
