This debate is way beyond my ken: sometimes, I think that I shouldn't have opened my mouth in the first palce. :) :)

I don't know the differences within modern Catholicism. Thx, for the heads up. I will think about it in the future. Neverhesless, the point that though he might preferit if the Jews converted to Catholicism, I don't believe that he demands that Jews subordinate themselves to the Pope. :)

You can add Viet Nam to the list. Unlike Eastern Europe, we were clearly propagandized out of defending our own and the world's interests.

Nevertheless, I would make another quick point. It depends on whom you read, but in 1900, America was either 80% or 95% rural. We were a bunch of hicks! Populations had shifted to some extent to the cities, but not a great deal by 1941.

For every one of your relatives who would have been liberated from the commie rats, how many of us would have paid the price? These American families had long ago left Europe (including my Polish aunt who referred to herself as a Bohunk) and its endless wars. I know you realize it, but these Americans were just as valuable to their families as your grandparents, aunts, uncles, children, neices and nephews are to you.

I was using "heaven" loosely, and yes Jews are waiting. However, the way a conservative, religious Jewish friend explained it to me, in the end in the ultimate hereafter, Jews end up at a higher level than us goy. If there is a different interpretation, I would love to hear it.

I clearly remember the afternoon he told me that at a local San Francisco East Bay outdoor coffee shop because he was embarrassed to admit it. :)

I am not an expert on all the ins and outs of the WWII endgame. Almost everyone complains about Roosevelt being too sick to stand up to Stalin, hence he capitulated. Further, it is well documented that he had commies close to him in his government who were influencing him to kiss Stalin’s ass.

That said, I seriously doubt that you can show any info that Americans (the people, the soldiers and sailors) were willing to fight for another 6 months to several years over Western Europe. It is easy to separate yourself and play some theoretical chess in your mind with wooden pieces, but in reality it is the ole blood, sweat and tears, American hearts and minds that were going to be splattered all over Eastern Europe.

You need to place your hatred where it belongs and sing along: "Eeenie, meenie, Mussolini. We pulled the Devil out of Hitler's weenie." We accomplished a great deal!

It is too bad that your relatives were in the wrong place at the wrong time, but you should be damn happy that that has not been true for you, that we were able to cut out significant borders in which you have been to live in more liberty than any others anywhere on the earth.

You are probably right up to a point, but what I have heard all my life is that at the end of WWII, no one wanted to continue fighting, to have to kill enough Russians to push them out of Eastern Europe. We felt that we had shed enough blood and wanted to come home. It was no more complex than that. As the Cold War developed, some might have regretted that decision, but at the time, America didn't want to "waste" any more of its men in Europe.

If I gave you the impression that I believe that all Jews are racist, I didn't mean to. I am just pointing out that, though it is not the Jewish self-image, in fact, some are. To some extent, Gibson couldn't have worked around Hollywood for so long and not encountered it.

If you get close enough to him, I bet that you would learn stories about racist Jews acting out personally against him and that he resents it. I don’t believe that he is remotely close to the toothless, 4th grade American Southerner who hates ni**ers because his family always has.

He had a bunch of kids with the original wife. My bet is that he got in young and she was never remotely enough, that he stayed with her because he tended to feel about himself the way you do. All I can say is that if he actually stayed with a woman who was never remotely close to being his equal (my suspician), he had to have been miserable. He's a Catholic, so according to his religious organization he could not get out, and that is probably one of the reasons he didn't while they were both young, when it could have ended at a time when both could have found someone else to go through life with.

Looks like Newt finally got it right.

His father was a Jew and a famous British actor who abandoned his family and moved to the USA where he married a White American. Jews who are aware of the story are always quick to point out that Jewishness is tracked through the mother, so Booth was, according to them, technically, not a Jew.

The fact that the murder that he committed is the most famous in American history and never involves the Jewish side of his family tree strikes me as some kind of cover-up.

I am not going to get into a blow for blow on his motives for the assassination, but some connect him to Europeans (especially a meeting in Canada) who wanted Lincoln dead because he caused a depression on their continent by blocking the South from sending cotton across the Atlantic. I believe that we are taking Rothchilds here, but I would have to double-check it.
