AMEN! They made billions by analyzing deals and understanding what great opportunities look like. So, in the old age, they are either too lazy now (meaning they have lost the thrill of chasing the deals) or they KNOW that without their buddies the feds applying coerced tax dollar subsidies there is no reasonable return on investment.

Just like the moronic health care issues: the feds cause a problem... in this case excessive regulation of the power industry on at least 1000 dimensions drives up cost; then they set about doing good for the people to alleviate the problems they caused use less energy with the lightbulbs that we put GE in business to mass produce for you while creating jobs... well in china anyway.
