Our new governor is sane and 'gasp' understands that chasing off business is bad for the economy. It's a bit surreal after the psycho cow Granholm. Almost like in a Twilight Zone episode that I hope lasts a while sort of way.

Oh come on. What's with the "OMG, how catty!" remarks? I always thought one of Breitbart's strategies was to use the left's tactics against them. We need all sorts of articles at this site. Some of them may seem tabloid, but so what. Taking the higher ground has gotten conservatives in the mess they're in today. We can't be polite. We need to point out celebrity vapidity where we see it. And it's not like it's one of the other Big sites, sheesh. It's Big Hollywood.

Great post Rob. This needs to be shouted from the rooftops. So many people still believe it's "the gaaaayyyys." I watched a documentary called Deliver Us From Evil about notorious pedophile priest Oliver O'Grady who abused both girls and boys. In it, one of his female victims recounted a conversation she had with someone in authority who told her that her case wasn't reported because it wasn't "strange" for O'Grady to be attracted to girls (or something to that effect). I wonder how many girls were dismissed in this way. I'm sure there are plenty of female victims of pedophile priests.

I used to think people who think rape and abuse are about only about sex just had a simplistic view of sex. But I agree with you that the people you mention are belittling the plight of all victims of child molestation by trying to turn this into a gay issue to suit their political and theological agendas.

Exactly. When I read this, I thought she was skipping a generation. Every 20-something generation wishes those before them would just move over, and then they realize they aren't the only ones on the planet. Otherwise, I greatly appreciate what she and James have done for conservatism.
