Last night; "Income tax will be temporary", "Social Security will ALWAYS be 'voluntary"", and other lies - Tuskegee - seat belts will never be mandatory, etc. Tie that to the Public health care3 plan and you see reason for doubt.

Also, I looked at the ;logical end to having a national health care plan - and why it WILL mean the death of insurance companies.

I really want comments to challenge me, as well as keep me motivated.

I know, based on replies I have recieved, that a FEW do listen no matter what district you are from. Many do not listen, sadly, to anyone.

I agree with your point on dereliction. Not sure there is much we can do, short of all out rebellion, which is a terrible idea, or voting them out till they get the point. Not sure that will happen either.

The old saying about knowing the things I can change, accepting the things I can't etc, , needs one more line - The honor to voice oppostiion when needed, even though it MAY be futile.

But adding yet another inspection, that is required BY the fed, will carry additional fees.

Nice try. But you are mixing apples and oranges.

Termites, and dangerous gasses are a far cry from requiring garage outlets for your hybrid/electric car, alojng with all the other rediculous standards in California (which IS the model this is planning to be based on).

First that is done by local government - where all the power is SUPPOSED to be - not the fed.

Second, it is only health & structural damage - not to force everyone into conforming with a politcal agenda.

I relaized that SC was always whether or not to overturn, did not know that the overturn rate was 90%.

Would be interesting to know what other judges records are.

Hard for me to believe that there are no Appelate Judges that at least can compete with a
'coin toss'. But there may not be.

My understanding is NOT that 60% of her decisions that WERE appealed were overturned, but that 60% of ALL her decisions were overturned.......................

Once again, Sotomayor was overturned by the Supreme Court.

It has been said that 60% of her former decisions, were ALSO overturned by higher courts.

Why would we 2w3ant a person that is WRONG 60% of the time, be among those that make the decision of when a Judge IS right or wrong?

Would not all that is sensible say that her decisions ON the Supreme Court, would ALSO be wrong 60% of the time?

Can we not find a Judge that is at LEAST as good as a kid tossing a coin?
