I'll bite my tongue and vote for the Republican candidate, whoever he is. That's not an endorsement of the Republican candidate. That's an endorsement of yanking OhBummer and his party out of government at the earliest possible moment. Once Republicans are installed, that's no time for the American people to "go back to sleep." We'll have to hold the Republicans' feet to the fire and possibly drive them as crazy as we are driving the Democrats, right now. Some very dangerous trends are afoot in America today and in the world at large, and national survival is a game of the quick and the dead.

Under Islam, no good deed goes unpunished. This is also true in other large parts of the world.

Hey, Andy Breitbart! Love your work! But c'mon! Let us post longer comments --- like "Politico" does --- like 9K characters, min. What good is a laugh-line here and a rotten tomato there and a brickbat over yonder? It takes SPACE to develop and deliver a devastating critique!

OhBummer The Destroyer says ---- ""They just need to get it done. It shouldn't be that complicated. Now is not the time for self-inflicted wounds to our economy. Now is the time for action," Obama said.

"So I want to send a clear message to Congress: Do not slow down the recovery that we're on. Don't muck it up. Keep it moving in the right direction."

OhBummer is lying right in our faces. If Congress did all the right things, they'd be chasing him down the street with a stout rope.

ENVY AND THE ANTI-CAPITALISTIC MENTALITY

The enemies of pure, laissez-faire capitalism --- a politico-economic model which has never been tried --- are adept at laying the shortcomings of government policy [statism] at the feet of capitalism.

And the more frequent, abject and complete the failure of these statist policies, the more urgently they demand more of the same.

But Austrian School [capitalist] economist Murray Rothbard argued that if our goal is the Benthamite "greatest good for the greatest number," then it is necessary to adopt laissez faire capitalism.

Is it true that there are unequal success rates among human beings --- and therefore unequal rewards in the free market? Sure!

My body mechanic [my doctor] and my auto mechanic both make more money than I do --- but of course I would not recommend that you hire me to remove your appendix or fix your car --- unless you're pretty much tired of living.

The market rightly rewards them better than it rewards me for their kind of work --- pero asi es la vida.

Hi, Andy! Hey, how come Politico lets us post longer comments than the Breitbart websites do?

The only people getting a "legal" entry visa from Cuba are approved by the commie government there. So I suppose you could say "no Cuban immigrants --- legal or illegal" or "commie legal immigrants only" or "non-commie illegals only" [and some might be commie plants]. Geez, did I leave anyone out? Illegals wouldn't be such a danged problem if we didn't have a welfare state which, through the tax system, robs one group of people to support another group of people.

Nope, Oberon --- even without the wars, the government is bankrupting the country. And if I wanted to help the poor, I would do so. If I don't want to help the poor, that's none of the government's business --- and when Uncle Scum puts his hand in my pocket to steal my money, I want to chop off his hand, and then chop off his head. As it happens, I made less than $40K last year, so I have "no" intention of helping anyone other than my family.
