It seems that since they were Unionized, Ampad had to try to renegotiate with the Union, but they couldn't come to terms, and then, and only then, did Ampad close up shop. It seems to me the Union was responsible for the loss of those jobs. Johnson, the ex-employee is STILL campaigning against Romney....he did this when Romney was campaigning against Kennedy. I keep hearing that Bain/Romney closed up 30% of the Companies they took over....and if many were like the one Johnson worked for, it would be understandable....but it seems to slip everyones attention that it means they SAVED 70% of the Companies.
