Hi Tony,

Thank you for your comment. As stated these new features and look & feel are part of the new Razuna 1.4 :-)

"We know that many of you have been waiting for this. We are especially happy that we can deliver it and make it available as of immediately. If you have a Razuna Hosted Account with us or a Razuna Cloud Server then the new features should already be visible in your account by now. Else it will follow in the coming hours.

The new sharing features are also a part of the soon to be released Razuna 1.4 release for those who wish to host Razuna yourself."

Kind Regards,
Nitai

Great. Thanks for the tips. I looked at Lightzone for photography and it looks slick. I will check out the link. Your comments are much appreciated.

Hi Jamie,

Yes, I also use my machines mainly for developing and thus Tomcat, MySQL, Eclipse, OpenBD all come into play very nicely. No doubt. Also, the configuration of the system with Compiz and all the bells and whistles feels "natural".

What I'm a bit more concerned is the application side. As I mentioned, Open Office feels like Word 98. Also that there is no real replacement for Aperture / Lightroom is a bit of a "worry". I have been getting into photography lately and really enjoy using Aperture.

Another worry point is (and I haven't searched for alternatives) the screen casting. I do a lot of videos for our products and really needs a good app for that. Currently I'm using ScreenFlow.

To be honest, I'm a bit back and forth. On one part I love being able to use just about any "cheap" hardware out there and use an open source system, on the other hand I came to love the apps of MacOS X which gives me currently all I need.

But I will continue on with Ubuntu and look for alternatives in the applications section.

Very cool. Thanks a lot for letting us know these things. Yes, I got my desktop setup with Ubuntu now and going to get a Netbook (which will replace my MacBook Pro) to have Ubuntu on it.

Ubuntu all the way soon (hopefully).

Hi Brenda,

Unfortunately, I don't know the answer to your question. Sorry.

But I have seen some other weirdness with the Nginx/Tomcat combo and
we decided to more back to Apache/Tomcat. In my speed test I saw that
Apache/Tomcat is at the same speed as the Nginx/Tomcat combo. So there
as no really gain from Nginx.

Just make sure you install the Tomcat Native Libraries, will make a
big difference.

Kind Regards,
Nitai

Just do a refresh of the page or restart Tomcat. It is a bug that is fixed in the next version. Otherwise post support inquiries over athttp://support.razuna.com

Have you tried to simply install the 1.4 and then switch to it with the alternative method outlined here?
