Maybe some effective shoulder-fired AA weapons finally found their way to Afghanistan...possibly blowback from the Empire's war against Libya or their covert war against Iran or their war on Africa or their war on one of the other multitudes of victims over the years.

News From Antiwar.com : House Foreign Affairs Chair: Iran Talks 'A Foolish Waste of Time'

I have to appreciate her candor; yes, "talks" with Iran would be "a foolish waste of time"...since the uncompromising goal is not to live in peace with Iran (on any other sovereign state for that matter) but to destroy it.

The Pakistani government should shut-up already. The whole world knows they're just a bunch of corrupt, shameless political whores. If anything, the disingenuous rhetoric just makes them look even more pathetic, if that's possible.

Antiwar.com Original Articles : Ron Paul and the Future of American Foreign Policy

It's a little late, but better late than never. Regardless of what's happened in the past, if the U.S. were to drop its fanatical support of Israel (as Ron Paul apparently would), Israel would be forced to abandon its expansionist agenda and start negotiating in good faith for a just peace with its neighbors.

News From Antiwar.com : US Judge Rules Iran Responsible for 9/11

Alas the truth finally comes out...it was those wily Iranians that did 9/11! Wouldn't ya know... How much more of this can our reserved and peace loving government be expected to take? I mean, just because Obama is an accomplished Nobel Peace Laureate doesn't mean he has infinite patience. First, their scientists throw themselves in front of bullets fired by our agents. Apparently just to make us look bad. Can you imagine that? Then, they have the unmitigated gall to download stuxnet and put it on their computers and controllers, without proper licensing. Then, they brazenly put their missile bases right in the exact same spot where our agents happened to be setting off a bomb. And now we discover this? Why, they're so diabolical, they convincingly made it seem like Israel and its fanatical partisans did 911 (with help from some traitorous Bush administration insiders, of course). Moreover, those sneaky Iranians even managed to somehow get NORAD to stand down, and to prevent a real investigation into what actually happened. And all of this in the pursuit of their selfish agenda of getting themselves attacked. How could they be so eeevil?

Also, please come up with some catchy-jingoistic-euphemistic-transparent-hypocritical-self-serving-laughably-absurd-BS like "Responsibility to Protect"; as a flimsy ideological fig-leaf for intervention into Egypt, to overthrow the corrupt USraeli-Empire-sponsored puppet government there.
News From Antiwar.com : Congress Passes Defense Bill Codifying Indefinite Detention

Our Masters know that the next series of illegal, immoral wars of aggression that they plan to launch, are going to have catastrophic consequences, potentially anything from economic collapse to nuclear WW3. Thus they need to get everything in place now, in preparation for the day when even the most brain dead sheeple start wondering why their country and everything they had needed to be sacrificed on the altar of Zionism.

Antiwar.com Original Articles : Do the Republicans Ever Learn?

I cringe whenever anyone uses the word "learn" in any context involving "politicians" and their handlers. You might as well ask, why can't serial killers and pedophiles "learn" from their mistakes? What we've got here is the unfortunate situation where our whole political process has been subverted by madmen. We've got bloodthirsty criminally insane puppet masters pulling the strings of amoral, sociopathic, empty vessels, whose only concern is their own pathological vanity. Where in this breathtakingly perverse scheme of things does anyone see any opening for any kind of "learning" process?

Antiwar Radio with Scott Horton and Charles Goyette : Robert Stinnett

If you had any understanding of history whatsoever, particularly the robust historical record of government treachery against their own subjects, you wouldn't be making such stupid statements. It's clear that FDR et al. conspired to get the U.S. into WW2 by provoking the Japanese to attack, as there is simply no other theory that explains the facts.

News From Antiwar.com : Clinton Vows to 'Press Forward on Missile Defense' Over Russian Objections

Let's see, as I type this, the USraeli Empire is interfering in Russian internal politics, building a missile defense system just outside Russian borders (whose only logical purpose is to mop up after a first strike), inundating Russia with drugs from Afghanistan, trying to subvert neighboring states and bring them into NATO, etc., etc., etc. Put simply, the Empire is doing everything short of open warfare to destroy Russia as we know it, and it is all painfully obvious. In light of this, I have to ask: What the hell is wrong with the Russians? Why don't they stop "threatening" to do something, and instead actually do something? Closing off the NATO supply routes would be a good start. Why continue to appease a monster intent on your destruction? There's no reasoning with bloodthirsty madmen, is there? They understand only force.

Antiwar.com Original Articles : Did FDR Provoke Pearl Harbor?

Good article, except I would take issue with calling China "arrogant". How does anyone living under the rule of a Judeo-fascist Empire bent on world domination and control at any cost, have standing to call anyone else's government "arrogant"? Anyway, of course by now it's obvious that FDR provoked Japan and that he knew the attack was coming, but that's all academic. It wouldn't matter if we had a video tape of FDR personally admitting as much - the majority of "Americans" much prefer a romantic lie to the ugly truth - thus the cycle of violence will continue.

News From Antiwar.com : White House Still Threatening to Veto Defense Bill Over Detainee Provision

In a sense the legislation doesn't really mean very much, because we're already way past the point where they simply do whatever they want to anyway. Words on paper have no power over our ruling moral monsters. That said, Obama may actually veto it. But if he does, it won't be because he disagrees with it in principle; rather, it'll be because he wants to trick the sheeple into voting for him again. IOW, the whole thing may be a psyop to convince the sheeple (who desperately seek to be deceived) that Obama really is a man of "principle".
