I just saw somewhere that there is a jailbreak for 3.1 windows users that had it already installed from a new phone purchase. Checked a few pages for a link. Can anyone post one?

I have the 3GS. I just traded it out yesterday because of a battery problem and I have 3.1 installed. I had a file on Sauriks server but I'm hosed.

My question: I opened the host file in order to add the modification text to re route to his server. I am not clear EXACTLY where to place it. I opened the file using notepad and I see the following entries towards the bottom:

# 102.54.94.97 rhino.acme.com # source server
# 38.25.63.10 x.acme.com # x client host

Do I just make another addition so the file will look like this?

# 102.54.94.97 rhino.acme.com # source server
# 38.25.63.10 x.acme.com # x client host
# 74.208.105.171 gs.apple.com

Are you running any jailbreak apps? Just curious as I hear Winterboard can cause lag.

I suppose if you tried out this program I have heard of called "Backgrounder" you could do some testing and let us know!
