I've been to a lot of concerts, and the concert experience I will always remember is the first time I heard "To Hell With The Devil" by Stryper live. It was so loud I could feel the bass drum in my teeth. Stryper is a fantastic band. And speaking of Rock and Roll - Stryper's releasing "The Covering" in early Feb (last I heard) - they're covering Ozzy, Priest, Maiden... sounds like a great album.

Dawn Treader, in my opinion, is the best book of the series. And I agree with the sentiment of Silver Chair and Last Battle being filmworthy, but the Magician's Nephew is "Made for TV" worthy and honestly, I didn't enjoy The Horse and His Boy when I read it.

You know what might make a really good movie? C.S. Lewis's Space Trilogy. "Out of the Silent Planet" and "Perelandra" were impossible for me to put down, and while "That Hideous Strength" takes forever and a day to properly set up the Chess Board, once the action starts it was near impossible to put down as well.

Here's a different twist to the gay marriage argument: Why is it a Federal Issue? Heterosexual Marriage licenses are issued by States. Shouldn't gay marriage be a state issue? Now, before anyone cites "Full Faith and Credit" with regards to gay marriages in Vermont not being recognized in Texas (where we have a state constitutional amendment banning it) - wake me up when Illinois honors my Texas Concealed Handgun License.

Here's the way I interpret Batman's cover up of Dent. The police, and mob informants on the police, are now looking for Batman since he apparently has killed 3 mob members. When Batman interrogated the mobster, and the mobster mocked him by saying "This fall will never kill me" - the mobsters knew that Batman wasn't going to kill them - and they didn't fear him quite as much as he wants them to. Now, they think he's potentially a killer, and to the mobsters this makes him MUCH more dangerous. As far as the mob in Gotham in the Nolanverse goes - Roman Sionis (Black Mask) and Oswald Cobblepot (Penguin) are still likely involved. Personally, I'm excited to see where they take the story in Batman 3.
