I hadn't read all the way through when I posted earlier. Anyone who doesn't see the massive inflation that is already occurring needs to go out shopping a little more. Groceries in particular have probably gone up 20% in the past 2 to 3 years. The reason most people don't notice is that the major suppliers DECREASE the quantity of each item, so that a slight price increase over the years doesn't seem like much, but when you factor in the decreased quantity, the price per unit quantity increases substantially. (for example, the previous standard of 16oz cans has been reduced by many companies to 15 oz cans, that's a 6% increase in price just from that size reduction. Hoarding cash seems like the craziest thing I have ever heard! Since there is already 15 trillion dollars in bogus money out there (the national debt), how can any cash increase in value over time?

Well, accoding to oregontea, our country only spends 7x what it takes in each year, so my 15x was off, but the point is the same.

If you plot the U.S. GNP vs the DJIA, they generally tracked together until about 1980, when the DJIA started to climb way out of proportion to what our economic condition warranted. Someone tried to tell me, "well, it's from all the foreign markets", and I fell for that at first, until I realized the global economy is just as bad, or worse, than our own. The filthy rich have been getting even filthier from this scam for the past 30 years. They have their estates, their gold, and everything they need to comfortably ride out the economic collapse. They have been slowly siphoning the futures of millions of people. It's disgusting and I wish it were possible to round up the crooks and put them in public stocks (not the stocks they sell, but the wooden kind).

Our entire economy is a fraud! Any country can appear to be doing well if you carry a national debt that is, what, 15 times the annual cost of running the government! Say you make $50,000 a year, you would look like you are doing really well if you ran up a debt of $750,000. The private sector, in terms of the stock market, is similarly running on fumes. I've been telling people for a couple of years that the DJIA, as a general indicator of the stock market, is way overvalued. It's just another bubble waiting to pop (yet, so many "experts" keep trying to blow it up even higher).

The Republican nominee could use Detroit as an example in ads and it would be hard for the Dems to offer a rebuttal. (oh, that's right, they would say, "But some wealthy Americans got even wealthier because of Republican policies, and that's just not right!")

My computer had the video on auto-reload, so there are actually two more of the fake Eastwood ads after the first one (and they seemed funnier than the first to me)

Yeah, if he said it more truthfully, "fundamentally destroying out country", he probably wouldn't have gotten as many votes (but too many fools probably would have still voted him in; disgusting!)

Can anyone tell me why Planned Parenthood receives ANY taxpayer money? Can I start a "charity" and get taxpayer money? (I don't think any private charity should receive taxpayer money; part of the reason our country is so broke is the seemingly infinite fingers of government reaching into every nook and cranny of U.S. society, to either take money out, or put money in)

It's pretty amazing that ultrasound isn't standard for ANY abortion. Perhaps it is, but they just don't show it to the mothers.

And I'm sure there are many cases where the information from an ultrasound helps prevent complications associated with an abortion, such as an unexpected twin, odd location of the fetus, etc. But these evil people would rather risk the life of the mother in an effort to prevent just one woman from changing her mind about having an abortion.
