Sarah Palin didn't nominate anyone. She doesn't have the power to single-handedly put anyone in office. She endorsed people, some of whom won and some of whom didn't. I don't have the specific numbers handy, but I believe of the people she endorsed, more won than lost. If indeed Palin is running for president in 2012, I highly doubt that any of this will matter then. Christine O'Donnell, Sharron Angle, and the rest will have been forgotten by that point, but Palin will still be around, with her larger accomplishments more of a testament to her worthiness or unworthiness than any specific candidates that did or didn't win. While it can't be said that she reshaped the American political landscape all by herself, I do believe she had a major hand in what happened on Election Day, the ripples of which could well be felt into 2012 and beyond--even if she doesn't end up in the White House, where she belongs.

My understanding of Gutfeld's project, at least as it was originally explained, was not that it was going to be a Muslim-only gay bar, but that it would be a gay bar for everyone that would be "Muslim-friendly." Meaning, for example, the menu would include all those 72 varieties of virgin drinks, and so on. The thing is, from the information I've seen about this, it seems that Gutfeld actually does have a solid business plan for it. That doesn't mean it will succeed by any stretch of the imagination, but if he's trying to attract the largest clientele possible that suggests he actually is interested in making money, which blows a hole in the radical left's theory he's just doing it for provocation. When companies do things just to "even the score," they end up huge popular and financial catastrophes like Air America. If something goes into business for the purpose of business, it usually has a considerably better shot.

"Hoekstra is not running for re-election and will not be Governor, so what’s the point of wasting valuable network time?"

But MSNBC time isn't valuable!
