You are right I have no idea how much effort goes into creating a role, nor do I understand the emotional toll it can take on an actor or actress. But is it such a "hardship" if they are doing something they really love? Is it so "tough" to do something they have dreamt about for most of their lives? Nobody is forcing these people to do these things, they do it because they love their craft and they work hard at something they have a passion for. I stand by my point, I have grown weary of listening to interviews and press junkets where actors and actresses make a special point of explaining just how "hard" a shoot was or how they "put their bodies on the line" during the filming. Using words like "punishing" and "gruelling" to describe their experiences. It's hard for me to accept when people I know and love struggle everyday to keep their jobs and provide for their families, whose everyday experiences are truly punishing and gruelling. If that makes me a " true JACKASS" then so be it, but I'm not the only who feels this way.
