I get that everyone thinks the test is New Agey, astrological-like. But it seriously isn't. Though, I was a bit confused as to how the test fit with the objective of the blog.

I suggested this comment system, so my cognitive dissonance is making me like it. Sure, the formatting leaves something to be desired, but I greatly enjoy how replies will appear directly below the comment their replying to. That's for trying out my suggestion Dan!
Dave, you sound like a psychometrist's nightmare. Most psychological measures have a forced choice design. The strategy is that your response to one answer won't make or break you, but there's a variety of "factors" embedded in each measure. You might get asked about the same factor 3 or 4 times. If you answer in the same way all 4 times, that put you strongly in that directly. If you answer one way twice and the opposite way twice, it shows you're neutral on that factor. Tests like this have been shown to have strong construct validity (meaning they can accurately predict what they're trying to) and strong reliability if things like lying detecting and social desirability are controlled for.

Here's Mine:
INFJ
Introverted Intuitive Feeling Judging
It says I'm an idealist Counsellor and I'm well suited for work in psychology, counselling, religious education, writing, or web design.
Considering I'm a PhD student in psychology who spends my leisure time on religious blogs...I'd stay the write ups are fairly well done.
I've done this test oodles of times. It's a psychology trademark. It does have some scientific grounding and isn't like horoscope. Though, this version had a few typos and html glitches that I picked up.
