oh i got ripped off like something you wouldn't even imagine. I had a few games, a wireless controller and my xbox with the hard drive, I still came out of pocket some 150+ dollars including MLB 09...

and I couldn't have been happier. i've been 100% satisfied with my PS3 and then some...and knowing that every year I can play a good baseball game is priceless. notice i said GOOD - I will settle for GOOD just so happens that MLB is GREAT...2k sports can't even do just a "good" baseball game...i couldn't take it anymore.

people...do what I did, get you a PS3. I took my xbox and all my games, traded it in, and got me a PS3 a year ago.

this game is going to be re-SICK-ulous...a year ago, I bought a PS3 just to play MLB 09 THE SHOW; one of the best purchases i've made in years.

MLB 2k9 was not the worst sports title of 2009, it was the worst next gen game ever released. period.

and the argument can be made that it is one of the most unplayable video games in history....

I said MLB THE SHOW was bullshit? click my name and go through my messages and find that... in fact, I even said that if 2k9 gets their gameplay down, they'd have the better game. and they didn't do that.

and for the record, I've played every baseball game since atari 7800, even the ones on PC like Hardball and High Heat, I was playing "THE SHOW" back when it was just MLB, the ones with Chipper Jones, Shawn green, Andruw Jones, Barry Bonds (the last game he appeared in if I'm not mistaken), Eric Chavez were on the covers..

and my gripes with the series have all been the same since I joined this site: The Player models need upgrading, their heads are too big and arms too little, new interface, and new announcers...outside of that this is, and always has been, a VERY good baseball series.

2k simply did things that are unimaginable, not only for a baseball game but for a video game franchise in general. Nobody expected a game to be THAT bad.
