Hi Tagabukid - Thanks for the encouragement. Actually, since writing this article, I have already graduated from my Bisaya class. It took me 4 years to complete the course, but I consider myself quite fluent in the language, and I always speak Bisaya when I go out around town. It's a lot of fun for me, and you are right that I see great appreciation from the Filipinos that I come in contact with. Thanks again!
