Catholics had a chance to take a stand when Obama tested them in May 2009 with his speech at Notre Dame. They should have told him no thanks, we don't agee with your views and don't support them. This was a calculated action on Obama's part to cut the legs from the Catholic leadership. Truthfully, if I were a Catholic Priest and Nancy Pelosi, Joe Biden or Kathleen Sebelius came to me for Communion I would refuse them. And if they want to show Catholics they believe in the sanctity of life they can start by excommunicating those three people. But they won't.
Tell me which of his earmarks he porked on to legislation were conservative actions.
To borrow a phrase from Newt, "Please spare the pious baloney." I didn't judge you but you feel perfectly comfortable judging me. And to add insult to injury accuse me of not being for freedom. Enjoy your serfdom.
So you're saying that less freedom is better? You'd rather have mandated healthcare and cap and trade? Both things that Romney has either instituted or promoted? What are you smoking dude? Ron Paul is ALL ABOUT FREEDOM!
He's also a liberal Democrat masquerading as a conservative. And we can smell the stench of disingenuity from a mile away.
I'm sorry, I never knew there was a GOP campaign agenda or platform. I thought it was just three guys who want to be president and Ron Paul trying to save a Republic.
I have to agree. He's just another big government progressive republican.
I'd have given you two thumbs up if I could have.
Honsetly Stan at this point my analysis is that it would be better to re-elect Obama for four more years and get it over with. At this point Obama is the lesser of the two evils. This Republic is heading for a fall and this election should be about whether we're going to reverse that process or hasten it. If you analyze it from a dialectical standpoint (thesis, antithesis, synthesis) it's far better to push the thesis through its natural progression to generate an appropriate antithesis and we can work through the natural process to achieve a new synthesis. Why delay the inevitable?
Oh please. Does it matter whether we start speaking Chinese next year or ten years from now?
