Off topic...Why is there 2 of every post showing up in these comments? I've checked from a different browser and even a different computer.

Do people prefer Cydia or Icy? Is there much of a difference? I only installed cydia.

Reinstalling by jailbreaking again in redsn0w fixed it.

Im getting an error in Cydia on a freshly jailbroken 3G.

"Couldn't Configure pre-depend dpkg for grep, probably a dependancy issue"

Sometimes a few more errors. It won't install anything from cydia because this upgrade won't go through. I'd rather not restore the phone but I can always re-jailbreak.

Will re-jailbreaking reinstall cydia?

I just ran Cydia and there was a software update for SBPrefs. I ran it and restarted the phone. It might be placebo effect but its running much faster!

I have an iPhone 3G locked to AT&T jailbroken with redsn0w. Working great! Although it "might" be a little slower. The only thing installed is SSB Prefs & my battery charge screen (when plugged in) has the NA logo pic. This is done through Winterboard but there are NO other customizations.

I can't tell if its running slower or if its just me. Does anyone else slow down when Jailbroken? Or am I CRAZY?!?!

I sort of figured that. I just thought I'd check. hehe.

Having Wolfenstein 3D is such a blast from the past for me. Its been over 10 years since I've played it but somehow I still remember each and every level! lol.

I don't (need) a jailbroken phone so I'll wait for quickpwn. Thanks for the reply.
