True,but I was trying to instill some hope.But anytime someone on here talks about the truth they get negative votes.Look at my rating 0,so someone disagrees with my statements.I would love to know what I said that was so untrue?Remember this isn't the Reds.or the Padres,oh thats right the Padres spit in our face for 2 out of 3 games.With their closer trash talking us,and our hitters responding with no pulse.

Just like at the end of last year,when Washington beat them twice,including shutting them out 1-0?That didn't work out too good for the Mets last year,or better yet for last few years,winning when you HAVE to win.

Something has got to change.I like the lineup that Jerry has out there,but how about changing it just to see if it sparks something.Maybe putting Luis in the 2 hole will at least give Wright Reyes and Delgado a chance to see a lot more pitches in the ondeck and in the dugout.If I see David Wright try to open his hips,and pull another outside fastball or slider,I'am going to throw my tv.
I hope he clears waivers,and comes back to AAA.I just look back at Tim Redding and his contract.Think about this,Tim Redding signs his biggest contract,ready to come to the Mets with his first chance to win with a quality team.So what does he do,he shows up to spring training overweight and with a tired arm.Way to show how much this team and chance means to you.
Congrats to Shef,but as far as the game there are still some troublesome issues.RISP w/2 outs,and starting pitching.
I love how everyone works and grinds to get on base time after time,only to have David Wright pull a pitch to SS or 3rd.
