Does anyone know if the NCK official unlock rumors are true?

its too bad that when you jailbreak and unlock your phone there are so many issues. my navigon won't work when i do j/b and unlock on my iphone 4. This whole community is most likely going to be dead soon unfortunately. its not worth it. back in the day all of this was great but now adays its stupid. my days on watching this site for insight are long gone and only just to see wahts going on out of curiosity. soon they will allow 3g calling without wifi and the ability to have a factory unlocked phone in the US... (i know a top exec at apple) soon verizon will get the phone (public knowledge).

I just don't get why they introduce these things with problems in them. The phones aren't meant to have these tweaks and it messes up the phone while its j/b and unlocked... like my navigon not having gps signal. who wants to go through the menusia of that crap

Ha, you say that all the people who waste the time and the space on this Blog asking when new j/b unlock tools for new firmware will be out. But what keeps going is the constant rebuttle saying (THEY NEVE KNOW, ITS IMPOSSIBLE TO ACCIDENTLY UPDATE YOUR PHONE) So you are feeding into the B.S

The reality is there are millions of new commers to the scene and there will always be people asking those questions. By replying you are also wasting blog space (lol i know there is unlimited) but you still have to filter through their garbage and then to add insult to injury your rebuttle and its 40 replies!
And i'm doing the same by even responding... ( i just think its funny ) and i'm on lunch :P

I just hope they came through on their word fixing A2DP bluetooth functionality. It sucks with every iPhone i've bought up to and including the 4th gen iPhone 4...

Can anyone help me figure out why my navigon usa canada always says simulation mode and never seems to work? my location services are on. i turn them off then on. i pull up maps to get a locked position. i do all of that. What is strange is usually apps with GPS require you to say YES allow location services but it doesn't anymore. How do i make this 80 dollar app actually work and not cut out in the middle of navigation ... i'm so frustrated ive tried everything ;o(

Can someone please ask me why NAVIGON USA/Canada used to ask me for my current location and now it doesn't anymore. i'm having problems with GPS. it says not good enough for simulation anyone can help me would be apprecaited. I'm wondering because i'm JB if its having issues?

THATS F"ING HILARIOUS! ACCIDENTALLY ... how do you accidently restore and let your iphone restore for about 10 min before realizing your so stupid you shouldn't even attempt to buy an iPhone and should stick with the old fashioned FLIP phone or Zack Morris phone from Saved By The BeLL!

Out of curiosity for curiosity's sake... Has anyone bought a iPhone 4 iOS 4.0.1 j/b and unlocked and actually taken it to another country... Popped in another micro SIM and had success?

I'm always wary i have my iphone unlocked but travel abroad not too often. I would like success stories or any tragedies :)

P.s (when you edit your host file to downgrade or restore to 4.0.1) via @Saurik does that interfere with any kind of syncing with the phone contacts or any other function of the phone? After you do a custom restore do you set your server settings back to apple or should you just keep in defaulted to Sauriks server?

How did you find out about the new features with 4.1 ??? I have been waiting for full bluetooth support for ages.... It is so annoying to be listening to music and have it cut out every second because of the iphones horrible bluetooth capability. You can't even hit fwd track to skip to another track.. I just will never update unless there is a jailbreak/unlock. Any sources for the new features of the new firmware 4.1....

use tiny umbrella. you can't just restore back to 4.0.1 without saving shsh blobs. if you have them on the saurik server or got them manually then use TINY umbrella it will allow you to edit your host and then restore shift restore and you're good. GOOGLE your problems... don't post b.s on here.. you can find anything on google
