Oh how I love your ministry!
I lived in a maternity home for a while during my pregnancy with my now 11 year old son and it was a turning point in my life. I will never forget my houseparents Jimmy and Kathy Templeton or the other girls in my house. I have lost contact with all of them but I often thing of them and the two babies that lived in our house... Thanks for sharing about what you do and bringing back some precious memories of my own <3

I really liked this- sometimes we forget that as different people with different callings in our life that God both gives and asks us to lay down different liberties than those around us may have. What others nearby have liberty to do or (and just as much) may not have liberty to do has no bearing on what God has spoken to us! We have got to live and parent in a place where we fix our eyes on Him and only allow Him to set our standards.

I think it's so incredible when we get the opportunity to see God moving in the same way in different people's lives. That song Beautiful Things is the same song that inspired the documentary we did on miscarriage in Oct. Thank you so much for sharing your heart and your story, it's such a precious thing when God makes beautiful things of our loss.
