EMP (Electromagnetic Pulse) bombs are proven technology. They are nuclear bombs with yields under 3 kilo tons. Rather small for a nuke. But they are not designed to produce blast damage or radioactive fallout. They are designed to produce an intense pulse of electromagnetic energy that literally burns out electronic devices. They are detonated in space above the target so there is no fallout or blast damage. There are two problems in their use. The first one is that they are nukes which means they result in serious political problems to the country that uses them. The second problem is that an EMP will destroy any orbiting satellite that happens to be in the area at the time.

I don't want to be a name dropper but I believe that is a quote from the famous Greek socialist Wimpydopoulos.

Let see if I got this right. Greece will not be able make their march payment unless the other euro countries give them the money so that Greece can make their march payment. How long does this dog and pony show go on? Interesting enough the markets are taking a big hit every time bad news comes out of Greece. the Greek economy ranks 32nd in the world. How will the markets react when the 8th largest economy in the world goes bankrupt? That economy is the state of california which will run out of money this march. Nobody seems to be watching this impending disaster.

And if you think that performance was a fluke-----think again. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IdcKLuRjIX0&fe...

The hardest thing a singer can ever do-----performing live on stage.

RIP Whitney

She was an incredible talent. I once hear her sing the national anthem years ago at a sporting event and when she finished she brought down the house with applause. I simply could not believe that any person could sing that well. I wish she had never gotten mixed up with the wrong people in her life. Rest in peace .

Two to three EMP bombs detonated 100 to 120 miles above key areas of Iran and its all over. If it happened in broad daylight the average Iranian would have no clue on what happened. Suddenly everything that runs on electricity just stops working-----permenately. Every transistor, memory device, and microprocessor would be totally fried. Computers are all destroyed. Nothing electronic would work. All communication devices including television and radio would all be destroyed. Every electrical generating plant within range of the EMP devices would be fried. No electricity means no lights--------Iran is sent back to the 12th century. EMP's would destroy any modern vehicle that have microprocessors in them. Stated another way their cars, planes, and trains wouldn't work either. All of their radar would be broken and all their expensive nuclear bomb factories would be turned into inoperative junk. Their cities would be in total darkness and after several weeks without water (electric water pumps won't work) or food, chaos would reign throughout Iran. There would be major civil unrest in their major cities. The fascist regime of Iran falls. All of this could be done in missile strikes lasting under 15 minutes. I see no reason waging a long bloody war with Iran when we can end it immediately with almost no casualities to either side. Both the USA and Israel have EMP nukes and I strongly advise we use them in a first strike. If we don't use them Iran will soon get the EMP technology and the mullahs will have no hesitations on using them on us.

I live in the desert of the american southwest. If I find a rattlesnake in my backyard I don't tolerate them. I eliminate them immediately. So after 35 years of screwing around with Iran I say its time to end this regime once and for all time. I know of no regime that deserves more than being thrown of the trash heap of history.

I was a loyal democrat that voted the first time for Jimmy Carter. I have never voted for a democrat for president since. I didn't leave the democratic party, the democratic party left me when the McGovernites took over the party.

Yup he didn't see it coming when it came to. . .

the arab spring turning into a worldwide jihad against america.

his one trillion dollar stimulus turning into a failed mess

his obama care turning into a complete boondoggle.

his economic policies resulting in more jimmy carter stagnation.

There is a single word for what ails Obama. It's called CLUELESS!!!

HOPEFULLY HE WON'T SEE IT COMING WHEN HE GETS HIS WALKING PAPERS IN NOVEMBER.

I remember that song!

The Party's Over, it's time to call it a day.
They've burst your pretty balloon and taken the moon away.

It's time to wind up this foolish masquerade.
Just make your mind up that the piper must be paid..

Now you must wake up, all dreams must end.
Take off your make up, The Party's Over.
It's all over, my friend.
