Frequently Unasked Questions : Who Leads Better?

I've often felt that I'd be a better leader if I didn't give a damn about how my decisions affected others. :) Oh, and I also freaked out about "tidying up for company" after I did my first big guest posts on Stuff Christians Like. So you're in good company.

The best thing about respecting speedo guy is that you can do it from a safe distance. Great post, Jamie, but I had a hard time figuring out how to get here from your blog! Which of the ten links should I choose?

Loved the Michael / David joke last night - right behind Michael's video to "talk himself down" when he find that Holly is not engaged. Amazing.

Doorframes of TaterHouse : Abandoning Church

Those kinds of statements frighten me just a little bit too because I grew up steeped in church enough that I feel a bit more protective of it than I should. Plus, it's sad to say, I'm not sure how I'm going to create a movement that my generation wants to join.

tylerstanton.com : Arbitrary Thoughts

I used to get nosebleeds all the time as a kid. I'd wake up at night with a nosebleed. One time it started up in class. I think I was in 4th grade. I tried to play it cool, but some loudmouth girl with pigtails announced "Matt's nose is bleeding!"

Lindsey Nobles : Too Picky?

I don't think it's a bad thing to have a few standards that you're looking for. But as I found with my wife, the things we are looking for a usually arranged in a way that we wouldn't necessarily expect. To describe my wife before I met her, I wouldn't say that she was my "type," but when I met her, I instantly knew that she was the cutest girl I had ever met, and had a heart to match. So there's standards, and then there's reality. Standards are good, but you have to be open to who comes along. My recent post Blog Month- Behold- Your Blog Idols

I've written a few of those, but I've never been brave enough to post it online! See you around.

Stuff Christians Like - Jon Acuff : Church Names.

That's awesome. That even beats out the Christ's Church of the Jesus Hour in my town. That church sounds like a game show to me. Not to mention, it implies that Jesus owns both the church, and the hour, which he also named after himself, using his name as an adjective.

No, it's a hospital. Only in our area would Two Rivers sound funny, only because it's a mental health institution (previously known as an asylum.)
