if we dwell on the things that The Happening didn't have, we lose sight of the amazing things the movie DID have:

- Mark Wahlberg as a science teacher
- Dialogue written by Martians
- Ben Linus' dad asking people if they want mustard
- Mark Wahlberg singing "Black Water" by the Doobie Brothers for no discernible reason
- The word "happening" being said approximately 600,000 times
- The hilarious visual image of Shyamalan sitting behind the camera going, "Oh man, this is SOOOO good"

Imagine if everyone involved with Grease 2 thought their movie was going to save the world. You can't put a price on that kind of self-seriousness.
