I remember a homeless guy in Boston sitting in front of the CVS pharmacy; he heard my question about the cameras displayed in the window. He did a sales pitch on which was the best to suit my needs. I shoulda tipped him but didn't & he still gave me a smile for my thanks.

Germany has socialized medicine & free university for those who intellectually qualify for it. The worst student there would be a B student here. D students there would be honor students here. German citizens get 6 weeks paid vacation a year. They travel all over the world. And they make the best beer & cars. Deutschland ist immer noch ueber alles.

I don't think the young can comprehend the mob mentality they are up against. They missed the desegration mob crowd, the "lynch 'em cuz they must be guilty due to skin color" crowd, the "women don't deserve the right to vote" mob crowd, or on the other side of the pond, the "jews are the reason for every problem in Germany" mob crowd. They just don't get that ignorance & hate exist just because someone is different or a new idea or progressive idea is proposed.

Shame on Obama for letting the extreme left wing hijack the debate. I voted for Obama but am dead against this tactic. Let it go. This is more Americans pitted against Americans just like the right wing is doing. It has to stop. We need to unite. Shall we bring up the McCarthy injustices again? Or the Segregationists? Or the Abolitionists? Or the anti-Suffragettes? Or the land & lives we took from the American Indians? Let it go. It is history, not so nice history but it is the past. Time to move on.

I think Obama should just do what he's going to do & stop looking for consensus. Just like Bush. You can't please everyone. They'll get over it. They were dead set against women getting the right to vote, in fact, the USA was last after all of Europe, most Latin American countries, & even Communist countries. USA, runner up in progressiveness. Angry mobs even beat up the suffragettes marching with Wilson in 1913.

Oh, they have no place else to go . Let 'em rant. Just makes me sad to see Americans who are this hateful towards other Americans. I never said one peep under Bush I, or Ford, said very little under Reagan, said alot under Nixon. I heard Eisenhower was the last of the great Republicans. But their party knows how to work their crowd. Yep, let 'em rant. Poor things.
