Some have said that the stimulus hasn't saved any jobs, but here is a case where at least one job was saved. Oregon State University Athletic Director Bob DeCarolis was considering firing their basketball coach, Craig Robinson, after an 8-11 start (2-5 in the Pac 10 conference). When word of this reached Washington, Undersecretary of Education Martha Kanter was dispatched to Corvallis with $17 million in stimulus money for the university. Craig Robinson's job is safe for this year. For those of you unfamiliar with Coach Robinson, he just so happens to be Michelle Obama's brother. Just a coincidence I'm sure!

Ashtabula County Common Pleas Judge Alfred Mackey was asked what residents should do to protect themselves and their families with the severe cutback in law enforcement.

"Arm themselves," the judge said. "Be very careful, be vigilant, get in touch with your neighbors, because we're going to have to look after each other."

So this is what the out of control spending by leaders in both parties has brought us too. Mind you Ashtabula County is just north west of Cleveland where like Detroit Liberal leadership has been in place for generations

The truth is this. And I would even venture to say that most of you know what I am about to say is the truth. Policy is made within the arena of politics. If we are to effect real change in this country we must get into the arena of politics. If we do it as a Third Party we will go the way of the Green Party, The Constitutionalists Party and every other party that has come before that has attempted to take down the two party system. There will be those that stay committed to what ever new party is created, and they will never be heard from again. Reality is this, who makes up the Tea Party? What percentage of the people that rally and carry the signs are concerned long time Republicans? I think we all know it is close to fifty percent. So lets say you get half which you never will to leave the GOP and vote with the Tea Party people for Tea Party candidates. Congratulations you have effectively split the conservative vote and guaranteed a Marxist Liberal Win and the END OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA AS WE KNOW IT!

The masses of GOP voters that have never attended a Tea Party or a Rally will not support a Tea Party candidate, they just wont.
