Big Hollywood : NBC: What Will Comcast Do with the Rubble Zucker Left Behind?

It's all uphill from here. Unless we find out George Soros runs Comcast, they probably can't make NBC any worse. First, get into the news department and make some drastic changes. News should be news, not political spin or analysis. If a show has analysis and political spin, include the bottom screen ticker, "This show has political opinions and ideas and does not represent the feelings and opinions of the network or the sponsors." Get rid of the unlikeable personalities like David Gregory, Rachael Maddow, Keith Oberman, et al. and hire some people that look good and have brains, kind of like they employ on the Fox New Channel. Next no more cop shows, no more doctor shows, no more lawyer shows, no more shows that they can inject their political viewpoints/correctness. Concentrate on Sports, Sit-Coms, game shows, amateur competitions, and pop culture that provides a positive impact on the viewers. Stay neutral on hot button topics and watch the edgy language and situations. Don't look back.

Big Hollywood : Wikileaks: Suddenly Media Not Concerned With 'Chilling Effect' on Free Speech

This guy is a real loser in life. He came from a broken home, divorced parents. He's currently being investigated for rape of two women in Sweden. This guy is no different than the Virginia Tech shooter. He really doesn't care who he hurts or kills. If we had a president who knew what the hell he was doing this guy would have swallowed a 7.62 between the eyes months ago.

Could we have a moratorium on these two hags? Please. Their faces make me ill. If I even have a hint of what they are yapping about I know I would need medication. They get way too much coverage for their delirious rantings. The only time I want to read or see on TV anything about either of them is if they've taken an overdose of sleeping pills or they've jumped off of the Verazano Bridge.

Does he still have women come on his show and compete for boob jobs? That was OK though with NOW or women's libbers, because he's a big ProChoicer. How about that guy Stuttering Bob, is he still on? Nothing like making fun of someones affliction. Howard Stern should have never been on the radio. Due to the double standards he managaged to get away with a lot of political incorrectness thanks to his liberal base.

Big Government : What James Cameron Can’t Tell You about the Oil Sands

I don't know much about this but it seems the only real drawback to extracting crude from sand is that it is expensive. A lot of it is 250 feet undertop cover which needs to be removed and eventually reclaimed. It also cost a lot of money for the machinery for exploration and recovery. They also burn a lot of natural gas, (which they could have sold to the US) to heat water to make the steam to inject into the sand as one method of crude extraction. The price for recovering a barrel of crude from the Alberta oil sands ranges from $14 to $16 and will rise to $20 a barrel. The cost of recovering 1 barrel of Saudi crude, about $1. If you take one barrel of crude which is about 40 gallons, they can get between 15 to 25 gallons of gasoline depending on the quality. Add the cost of crude transport, catalytic cracking and product transport to fueling stations, add on the federal, state and local taxes and you have an expensive gallon of fuel. Just to make the project more difficult and costly, last summer a group of protestors sprung up in Missoula Montana trying to block Exxon Mobil equipment being transported across northwest Montana entering over Lolo pass and heading north to the Sweetwater border station enroute to Alberta. The protesters wanted environmental impact statements on the proposed transport. Included in the 207 loads planned to be transported some of the equipment is as tall as a three story building and two highway lanes wide. The Exxon Mobil reps were planning on spending $21 million to build traffic turnouts, bury powerlines underground, provide swingaway traffic lights and other necessities to move the equipment. What this all means is that if crude prices drop than the oil sands project will come to a halt like it did in the past when oil prices dropped. If it cost more to produce crude than what the market brings, then that's the end.

Big Peace : Time for Fresh Thinking on North Korea

North Korea is a buffer zone between communist China and democratic South Korea. This is probably one reason why the reunification efforts of the past have failed. While many free Koreans would like to reunify with their families in the north, the Chinese are never going to let that happen. China would like to see a reunified Korea only if it was all communist. About recent events, the Chinese will talk to Kim and they will then relay the wishes of the DPRK to Obama and he will capitulate and send some food and coal and everything will be quiet for another 8 months until they get hungry again.

If he was still around he would have unlimited choice material about Obama and his band of conspirators. Just imagining him going after Nopolitano about the TSA or Sebelius about Obamacare makes you wish he was here. One of Sam's classmates among Rodney Dangerfield's new comedians was Bob Nelson. He used to do the football routine about; if he didn't have his sholda mapads and helmet he'd have 'dain bramage'. He's now doing his routine in Branson. I could imagine Sam Kinison doing a routine in Branson too.

I had a flashback to my childhood listening to this. I had a trannie in my room from when I was a baby until about 5. The nice thing about my trannie was it was nice to have on hot nights. There was a little lever on my transom window that would adjust and let the air in. Don't see a lot of those above doors anymore.

I started reading George Bush's " Decision Points" yesterday. This books just reaffirms what an unprepared amateur Obama is. Newsweek's comment that the presidency may be too much for one person to handle. Let me finish their thought for them. "The modern presidency may be too much for one person if all you've ever done is vote "present" as a state senator and dabble in community organizing. Stapling up flyers on telephone poles doesn't do much to develop presidential skills."
