This is how it should have gone. Reporter : Did you reduce it by 40%? By 30%? By 20%? By 10%? Did you reduce it at all? Did you even try? or Report : Do you understand that by cutting something in half, the number should be less than it was originally? You have more than double the deficit, so you've done the exact opposite of what you promised to do.

I wonder if the conservatives bashing this add would flip it around when they notice that when Clint says "the fog of division, discord and blame", the protestors are liberals from California, since the shot is in front of the Sacramento capitol building. The add wasn't about Detroit, it was about America. It was an analogy that people are saying is political, because Bush and Obama bailed out the automakers (hey, guess what, GM and Chrysler weren't the only ones to take cash from the government).
