With that being said I think people these days just want an easy out; no one wants to work for things anymore. People who refuse to get married want the option of just "walking away" when things get hard, no red tape, no lawyers, just a clean break. That is all fine and dandy except that isn't how it works in the real world. With people having children out of wedlock (and before you go thinking I am judging - I am one of those people) you don't just get to walk away when things o bad, it becomes messy and the legal waters get murky. Women that have children and don't marry the father or simply combine assets need to know the legal ramifications of what would happen if you were to split.
