That would be first game as a Minnesota Viking...
(a la Paul Wellstone's service in Minnesota a few years ago... but I suppose you'll find a way to make that "different" and downplay the deplorable behavior)
He'll also get a lot of donations from those who agree with him. I've already heard conservative talk radio hosts encouraging listeners to donate. Just what we need--both sides pouring extra money into a stupid campaign instead of spending it on something like, oh, I don't know...HEALTH CARE for the poor?
This is not my original post (for which I am still waiting...), but your very first sentence is absurd. The (perhaps overblown) uproar had NOTHING to do with Obama's race, and you know it. Republicans didn't accuse Democrats of rejecting Clarence Thomas for the Supreme Court because he was "conservative and black." You know why? Because we didn't think you objected to him because he was black, but because he was CONSERVATIVE. Just like we don't like Obama because he is LIBERAL, not because he is black. It is a predictable, and tiresome, tactic of the left to cry racism, done to deflect the real issues.
Although I know you're not a politician, after this article and the enlightened comments above, are you still holding to your claim that it's the REPUBLICANS that need to learn civility??? Anybody?? Olbermann?? Anybody?? At least we don't boo at memorial services/funerals.
Then shut up about it. Didn't your mother ever tell you that if you ignore a bully, he'll go away?
If I post a REAL comment, why does it have to be approved by the site admins before it will appear publicly??? And why hasn't it been approved--I posted it on the 8th and again on the 9th.
What does it take to get a comment posted? Do I have to AGREE with you? Or was my submitted comment just too long?
