me too. in fact many years ago i used to work as one of those security guys around the field, i got to watch the game from a good vantage point, got a free boerie roll, got paid, even had a dog. Having beer thrown at you at castle corner wasbt always fun, but the traditional sprint for the wickets after the game was awesome....

I hear you Matthew. We sure do (Im from the Western Cape) but we never seem to get represnted. Maybe it's time the pageant was held in Cape Town?

I'm guessing it must be hard to hold a show in a city where the average girl in the street could be part of the show.

I have to agree with you there. I think maybe the fact that the actual voters on the show are kids who probably wouldn't know a musician if he / she was right in front of them, is what it's all really about. It would be interesting to see what an older voting demographic would vote for.
