We must have coverage for all; especially uninsured and underinsured. The one payer system option administered on a state basis is the only logical and affordable solution. 'Big Government' would have to be instrumental in allowing this to be created; private insurance exists soley for decadent profit of the billionaire companies. The public needs to wise up on this subject.
Control of our individual healthcare treatment options and decisions needs to be our responsibility; not the responsibility of doctors, and insurance companies. People need to research and make themselves knowledgeable about their health problems and treatment options. It is a simple thing to make the decision to limit diagnostic testing, refuse unnecessary tests and most prescription medications; and be very informed and cautious about any surgical interventions. Most testing and treatment is unnecessary; it is designed to make billions and not designed to heal or cure. It is surprising to me that this simple truth is largely ignored by the American public..
