Of course there's the issue of returns - I don't always return my movies the the same redbox so some might have a surfeit of certain titles, and others a dearth. Again, check out their website and search for moneyball - it'll tell you what kiosk has it nearby. Or not.

The Music Man - what a fabulous movie. When I saw Preston in The Last Starfighter, I thought "Music Man!" TMM Made me stop and watch ANY old musical that came on TV. Found Carousel that way. What a glorious, hopeful, yet heartbreaking movie that was. You desperately kept hoping Billy and Julie will turn out all right, but it just moves inexorably towards Billy's demise and Julie's (and their daughter Loius') shame. but it leaves you on a sweet note of hope.

"These days, the fewer people that see a movie, the more the Academy loves it. Typical elitist (sp) snobbery. " I recall that very same complaint some 30 years ago, when movies like "Chariots of Fire", "Ordinary People", and "Terms of Endearment" all won. All were considered "important" arthouse-type flicks that were designed to win, but not necessarily win at the box-office. Meanwhile, "E.T.", "Raiders", "Empire Strikes Back" and other such fare cleaned up and are much more fondly remembered today. It's not a new thing, but Hollywood HAS swung (too hard IMO) the other way. Remember when "Titanic" was the Best Picture winner AND the #1 grossing movie of the year (1997)? Hasn't aged all that well the last 15 years, either.

True. But the dialogue that first season - OMFG it was terrible at times. Even the opening sequence makes me wince - "The name of the place - Babylon 5!" They fixed that by season 3, but still. And Garibaldi going on about the subject of "security" as if it was a monolithic subject...Ehhhh. When JMS took over scriptwriting, it got a LOT better.

That's why I missed her character in season 5. That and the whole space lesbian thing. FTR, I'm a Trekkie - I watched every episode of every series and every movie produced. Anymore it feels like an obligation - hoping they would do it better than the last and being mostly disappointed. I'm not impressed with J.J. Abrams "reboot". I just can't bring myself to watch any of it again, with some exceptions like STII and III (that's a damn good movie, broke the odd curse IMHO). I could watch B5 over again. BTW, 4.6% on the download.
