I'm with you on the V8 Supercars. The Aussies know a thing or seventy about thrilling racing. I'd also mention the Dakar for pure insanity. Oh, and here's some V8 super action to back you up...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q4hba6UlQgY

nice job UD, now all wee need you to do it test an IVT, unfortunately the easiest way to get your hands on one of those is in a John Deere tractor...

OK, the RX2 has rotary awesome going for it with the 13b, and if it were a stock 510 vs the RX2, the RX would take it home. However the 510, WITH a 12a makes the other two look as bland as over-cooked rice.

I don't remember it at all, but I spent the first two years of my life riding around in a Plymouth Fury III sport wagon with the 383 and 4-speed.... there were apparently times when the hatch window was lowered to allow the residual tire smoke to clear, protecting my young lungs from long term damage.

Then the '80 Subaru 4x4 Wagon with all the accessories (brush bumper, winch, skid-plates, dual-range transfer case, snow-plow, chrome rocker rails) and a long string of clapped-out-but-still-fast cologne v6 Capris kept me assured that cars were in fact cool until I was old enough to drool at 959s all on my own. Some of my earliest memories involve changing oil and spark plugs on the Subie with my dad, and then going air-born on back roads in said same car with my mom at the wheel... My mother's first car was a '56 Chrysler 300, and I think she never got over that.

Imagine this in 5-years older, a wagon, red, with a child seat in it and you have a pretty good idea of how I grew up...

God, and I hoped never to be reminded of that movie again...
