I have never been a fan of Alex Jones to be honest (I have followed his career since right after 9/11 and I used to spend a lot of time debating with his fans). The way he did and said things really rubbed me the wrong way. I do have more respect than I used to now that I heard him interview someone from the Oath Keepers and he admitted he was wrong about how he treated law enforcement in the past, but I'm still not a fan (I do check his web page or forums from time to time). This isn't about that anyway. This isn't about Alex Jones vs. Glen Beck. I see a lot of Alex Jones fans obsessing over the differences or similiarities between the two - they are individuals and true individuals rarely agree 100% on everyting anyway. If you have a point to make about a policy or law or action taken by our government, then make it. That's what this is for. This is about the Constitution and our rights as citizens of this country.

Oh, and another thing elcolorao31. We are not followers of Glen Beck. This is about about principles and values, Genn Beck follows similiar principles and values that we do. I would love to see movement away from the Obama cult of personality in this country and a return to people taking opinions on issues as individuals.

Patriot2Opine, That's a good question. People really need to have a back up plan. I grew up in the country and my family that still lives out in the country continues to plant their own garden, have fruit trees and can their own food, fish and hunt, also most of them have their own water wells and pumps that pump well water through the house. I know that if things get hard, we will be okay. I worry for people that have never learned how to do these things or that just don't have a place where they can do these things. There is a possibility that we could in the near future be facing a peak oil crisis along with the economic crisis. I stayed with a family in Russia once and even though they lived in a small apt., they had their own garden space. I don't think our cities are adequately prepared.

Elliott, Just because someone is popular, doesn't mean they can not be impeached. This is America. A REPUBLIC. Rule of law, not mob rule. However, realistically it probably won't happen (at least not anytime soon) given the fact that the majority of our congress is just as worthless.

When he started running for president only 2 bills he introduced as U.S. senator were actually passed into law (one was to name a post office). Where's the substance? Hello, here are suggestions for the 9-12 project. -add forums with different categories -rather than having such a long delay in approval of messages, just let the messages go through instantly and add a report button at the bottom, if several people report it, you can block it until it is reviewed and if what the person posted is bannable then ban them, for reapeat/severe offenders just ban their IP address -make it easier to find other members -make it easy to follow up on your own posts

Can anyone explain this "DoD Civilian Expeditionary Workforce" ??? Reissues DoD Directive (DoDD) 1404.10 (Reference (a)) under a new title to establish the policy through which an appropriately sized subset of the DoD civilian workforce is preidentified to be organized, trained, and equipped in a manner that facilitates the use of their capabilities for operational requirements. These requirements are typically away from the normal work locations of DoD civilians, or in situations where other civilians may be evacuated to assist military forces where the use of DoD civilians is appropriate. These employees shall be collectively known as the DoD Civilian Expeditionary Workforce. Members of the DoD Civilian Expeditionary Workforce shall be organized, trained, cleared, equipped, and ready to deploy in support of combat operations by the military; contingencies; emergency operations; humanitarian missions; disaster relief; restoration of order; drug interdiction; and stability operations of the Department of Defense in accordance with DoDD 3000.05
