Big Hollywood : Spider-Man No More?

I just read on Deadline Hollywood they are talking to the director of (500) Days of Summer, the aptly named Mark Webb, which was an excellent film. He has never done action, but he does characters really well. So I am hopeful if he does it. http://www.deadline.com/hollywood/will-sony-spin-...

RobertB is off. Reboot means restart. They start from scratch, like Batman Begins.

I liked three OK. I understand some of the complains about Parker being a wuss and so on, but then, he was going through some psychological stuff with the suit. I do think the movie would have been better if they kept it to two villains.

Those Fantastic Four movies were terrible if you read the original Stan Lee/Jack Kirby stories. Even if you hadn't. the writing of the characters, esp Reed Richards and Dr Doom was so far off base it's appalling

It didn't. That show ran its course in the ratings over in Japan. But it owns part of the American version. That's probably why Morimoto is one of the chefs.

Yep. The fact is Congress controls the allocation of funds, not presidents. And both parties are guilty of these deficits. Dems are the worse, but Republicans are not innocent either.

You obviously only read one sided views. Much of the things you cite have been debunked. As for first panel, it does not preach hatred, it is exactly what Muslims believe. It's in the Koran. And it was a Muslim school.

The problem is, you're projecting your own insecurities on the piece. The professor in Columbia panel is expounding on his view that socialism is superior to capitalism which he thinks is evil and state bureaucracies rule better. That what socialists practice and many believe. Yeah, there are varying degrees of socialism severity, but that does not excuse where it leads us. History is littered with the horrors of what it does to a society. Whether or not our allies (or we embrace it) does not diminish its faults. But I did not go into that in any length in the cartoon. you imagined all that. It merely shows that the Marxist professor (which is who Obama admits liking) thinks socialism is the true path. Despite what you said originally, nothing in here is made up so much as distilled down from the poison Obama has had poured in his ears his whole life. I almost don't blame him for believing the nonsense he subscribes to, since that is what was thrust on him, but it shows he is not capable of thinking rationally or logically, as he subscribes to the philosophies of cranks.

Yet you hear little gripping about Stalin or Mao. It's Hitler, Hitler, Hitler. A lot of people don't even know that Mao and Stalin are two of the worst mass murderers in history. Eclipsing Hitler by many times over,.
