Exactly. Most of the stuff I've downloaded can be chalked up to two reasons: 1. I didn't want to bother with running out and blowing money on a USB turntable to digitize my vinyl just so I could play all my music in the car. 2. The download was of something that's been out of print for years and that I couldn't find through any other channels. I think that's a significant subset of people who use online file-sharing -- the kind who say "I already own this stuff" or "I WANT to own this, but I can't freaking find it anywhere else."
