Someone once wrote that for most decisions there is a Good Reason, a Stated Reason and a Real Reason. I think, in this case, the the administration's "Good" and "Real" reasons are gun control and the "Stated" Reason have nothing to do with tracking guns going to the drug cartels.

I don't see any conflict for the media. The story is celebrity sleaze, good for ratings, win for the media. The story provides an opportunity to toss mud on a republican, good for the media. The story lets the media dictate to us how we should think, good for the media and they hit a Trifecta.

Is there an officially recognized unit of measure for hypocrisy? I think that the "Biden" should be the official unit of measure for the Political Gaffe. And the "Obama" really ought to be the official unit of measure for damage to the country over one term in office. The "Pelosi" or the "Reid" are two possibilities for hypocrisy. Anyone have any thoughts on the matter?
