While I agree there is a lot of complaining with MOTUC in general, most of it is warranted. Also, this is NOT a normal toy line. Many of these fans are BLIND subscribers. Which means they feel as though they have a say so in the line and by all means, they should. Do they nitpick everything? Yes. Should they choose their battles more wisely? Absolutely.

However, there are plenty of legit reasons people complain about MOTUC. Mattel has given dozens, if not hundreds of reasons since the line started for people to gripe about.

That said, I like all the reveals, even Snake MAA (I don't want the character, but I prefer this version to the first draft) except Laser Knight dude. Thankfully I'm not tied to the sub that's he's in. If more pics come out and he looks cooler, maybe I'll change my mind.

Perhaps. Like I said, there are some elements that do seem very much like Lawler, but I still don't think I would have known it was supposed to be Lawler if I hadn't been told. The coat isn't helping and he's going for a very realistic nowdays Lawler, which is fine I guess, but not what I'd expect in a comic. I think it's the hair color that's the main issue. Lawler's hair color should be closer to Dick's...

Of course to that end, I'm not a huge fan of the way Staton is drawing Tracy's hair either. Though maybe that wasn't a choice on his part. I don't know. It looks a little off in a few panels though.

Actually apparently the Mole reformed decades ago, or so I'm told. You're thinking of the Rodent, who looks similar. Also my favorite character in the old Tracy toy line. There seems to be a lot of rat faced guys in Tracy's world.

If they have a peg, it can split at the opening eventually. I'd say it's rare, but it can happen.

I was excited to come in here and talk about all the neat cartoons in the commercial... Then all the comments are about football. Some nerds you guys are.

Plus it was a great throwback to a previous era. Plus Space Godzilla is a really boring movie anyway and he adds a little color to the whole thing. Godzilla movies were getting a bit deep at that point, so it was a nice tie back to the olden Showa days... And by the next film he was back to being a mini-Godzilla, so it's no harm, no foul IMO.

Plus his design is what Minya's should have been.

Three days is good. I don't know how it's not. I'm more curious why the sudden change of attitude. I feel as though something happened internally where MOTUC got some attention that it wasn't before. Then some bigwig came down on the line and said "stop spending so much money" or something.

Yeah well it's hard to not support Mattel if you signed up for the sub, sadly. I'm not sure what can be done honestly, short of just not buying the products. The truth is, most consumers want to help Mattel make better toys (and decisions) but they seem uninterested.

Then again, with the exception of a few people, the boys brand seems to be filled with folks who have absolutely zero knowledge of toys, comics, etc. Always scary when that happens.

It's something I'll look into.

Hmm, that's odd. Maybe it's being replenished. In my areas all the Targets have sold through several times... But Bandai, unlike some other companies who will remain nameless, seem to be good at shipping more out.
