He was also a "democratic reformer" just 5 years earlier, but then Yuschenko married a US State Department employee and he became the preferred "democratic reformer" to replace the old "corrupt regime" which had originally been filled with "democratic reformers". Modern inventions of the Bus and Hotel were also very useful during these "Color" Revolutions.
